District 108 2006 Season Tournament Results



Tournament #1 September 25th, 2005 Mississippi River Pool 18

The Southeast Iowa district of the American Bass Anglers held the 1st tournament of the 2006 season on Sunday September 25th, 2005 on pool 18 of the Mississippi River. The day was overcast with short periods of sun. Water temp was in the low 70's and river conditions were murky with light current. In general fishing was tough for most. Keepers were hard to find but, once again, there was no shortage of short fish. The bigger sacks are all believed to have come from pool 19 and all reports of pool 18 were that it was tough.

First place was claimed by, new member, Scott Seager from Ft. Madison, IA. Scott brought in a limit of bass weighing 12.96lbs. Scott was asked if it was beginner's luck and he said we'll have to wait til next time to see.

Second place went to our 2005 District Angler-of-the-Year, Rob Bartholomew. Rob's also brought in a limit his weighing 12.47lbs. Third place as well as Big Bass went to Fasananh Phosy of Mount Pleasant, IA with a limit weighing 12.15lbs including the 3.38lb big fish.
