District 108 Tournament Results Tournament #3 May 29th, 2006 The day was very windy and it rained nearly all day but the fishing was good which is evident due to the 14 limits that were brought to the scales. We had a record turnout for the 3rd tournament of the 2006 season with 26 anglers launching in the morning. We would like to send a special welcome to the new members. We hope you find the ABA a great home for you and discover why the ABA is by far the largest tournament organization in the country. First Place, as well as the Big Bass pot, was claimed by local angler, Scott Seager. He reported that he caught his fish on a variety of baits including spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and plastics. Scott said his fish were caught in several spots as well. He basically just went fishing and picked up a very nice limit that weighed 17.52lbs. This great performance earned Scott $444 for 1st, $250 for Big Bass as well as a $50 gift certificate from Farm King. Second Place fell to LaHarpe, IL angler, Ross Lord. He was less than a half pound behind Scott with 17.1lbs. Ross reported he caught all his fish with spinnerbaits while fishing fallen wood along the main river bank in the southern end of the pool. This earned him $270. Third Place check was claimed by David Junk of Quincy, IL.with 16.36lbs. David caught his fish on homemade spinnerbaits, jigs and tubes in shallow water.
