Schedule & Results
On a very hot and muggy day, only four anglers brought
fish to the scales. Each of those four only brought one fish each. So,
we had a battle of the biggest bass.
The winner Roger Koopman, won his second ABA event in a row by hauling a
3.32 lbs Largemouth all the way up from Pool 17. He noted fishing
several areas on Pool 16 that were productive for him leading up to the
tournament, but the heat stifled any bites he would have gotten. At
9:30am he was finally forced to lock through to get his one tournament
winning bite. Roger is sponsored by Pine Point resort.
The second biggest fish of the day was weighed by District Rookie Todd
Osborn. He caught his 2.35 large mouth in a backwater area on pool 16.
Rick Cloninger weighed in at 3rd place with a 1.56 lbs Largemouth and
Chris DeVries took 4th with a 1.35 lbs smallmouth caught on wood near
the main channel.
