Tournament # 6, Sept 1st 2007, Mississippi River Pool 19

Things got a good deal tougher during this event as the river has been at or above flood stage for about a week and the upper end is now dropping a foot a day. Due to this we did not see the large sacks that are normally brought to the scales. The anglers, however, did not let anyone down and brought in fish.

The big sack today went to the team of Mike Waddell and Dan Goeke. The worked a large number of areas in the lower half of the pool to bring in 10.77lbs of bass. The majority of their fish were caught on Strictly Bass spinnerbaits. This finish was almost a pound above the runner-up team of Chuck Davis and Robbie Biggliazzi with 9.92lbs. Third place fell to Brian and Dennis Mehaffey with 6.51lbs.

I should apologize for not having pictures or a better write up. Murphy or an alien spacecraft struck and I lost all but one interview and the card in my camera apparently went bad at same time so I can not retrieve the pictures that were on it.
