Tournament #1 Mississippi River Pool 19

The day began rainy and breezy but about mid way though the day it cleared up some and the rain stopped. The air temps were pleasant and the water temps were right around 74 degrees. The river was about 1/2 foot low for this time of year but there was decent current.

1st place went to Mike Mertens. He was flipping a tube on the lower end of the pool and found his fish deep in the eelgrass. His winning sack was 12.05lbs and also contained the big bass of the tournament with a 3.48lbs largmouth.

2nd place fell to Fasanah Phosy with a limit weighing 10.71lbs. His fish were caught around Ft. Madison in the middle of the pool.

In 3rd place was Rob Bartholomew with 10.67lbs. He was just barely edged out by Phosy. His fish were also caught around Ft. Madison.
