Mississippi River Pool 13

It was a cool and wet day but the fish bit better than was expected around Bellevue. District 108 Director, Ken Warren, showed up for a visit and left with a win today. He locked down to Pool 13 and caught all of his fish swimming a Strictly Bass Invader Jig through milfoil to catch 5 weighing just over 13lbs. Ken is sponsored by World Fishing Network (WFN), Triton Boats, Evinrude, and Strictly Bass Lures.

Dubuque Army recruiter, Steve McMillian gave Ken a run for his money claiming second just a few ounces behind. He fished a shallow flat above dam 12 catching the fish on spinnerbaits and soft plastics.
