On Sunday May 31st the American Bass Anglers held their 4th event for the 2009 season. The weather was stable and the fishing reports were mixed in the muddy water. These anglers came out to try to claim their spot at the 2009 ABA National Championship on Pickwick Lake.

First place went to Mike Huffman for the second event in a row with a 12.77lb sack of largemouth. Mike caught his fish on spinnerbaits and a jig in the shallows off of wood. Second place went to Dave Knutstrom with 11.97lbs followed by Rob Bartholomew with 6.86lbs.
